Miraflores: the Canal from its Pacific side
The Miraflores Visitor Center offers a close look at the locks from its observation areas. Your guided visit helps connect what you see with the engineering and history of the Canal. We coordinate the timing using available ship-transit information, although seeing a ship cannot be guaranteed.
Agua Clara: a view of the expanded locks
Agua Clara offers a different perspective from the Atlantic side, near Colón. Its viewpoints overlook the expanded locks and the surrounding Lake Gatun landscape. Choose the center that best fits your interests and available time; visiting both requires a separately coordinated itinerary.

Are visitor center tickets included?
Yes. Admission to the visitor center specified in your itinerary is included, together with private transportation and guided coordination.
Does the tour include both Miraflores and Agua Clara?
The visit is planned around the center you choose. Both centers are not automatically included; tell us if you want to visit both so we can coordinate a suitable itinerary.
Will we see a ship passing through the locks?
We help coordinate the visit around available transit information. Ship movements can change, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Is this a cruise through the Canal?
This page describes visits to the Canal’s visitor centers and observation areas. It does not describe a boat transit through the locks.
